Fees & Insurance

Investing in yourself is a very valuable thing to do.

Counseling is an investment of your energy, time, emotions and finances. I respect this. When we work together, the process does not take longer than ten sessions. I work hard to equip you with the resources you need to overcome your obstacles and realize a change that will last for you.

Most of my clients are self-pay primarily because insurance requires a mental health diagnosis. If you want to work with me on discovering your true self, overcoming your personal obstacles, or finding your personal bliss, insurance will not cover this.

If you are seeking help for a mental health diagnosis, such as depression, anxiety, or addiction, insurance may be an option. I work hard to give all people an opportunity to benefit from counseling.  If you are using insurance, I will need your assistance in obtaining authorization and filing paperwork. Payment is expected at the time service is provided and can be made either in cash, personal check, Paypal, or by credit card.




 

Cancellation Policy

If you must cancel or change an appointment, we ask that you provide notification 24 hours in advance so the time can be offered to another client. Please note that we charge full fees for sessions that are missed or cancelled with less than 24 hours notice.

Under certain extenuating circumstances (e.g., medical illness), fees for missed or cancelled sessions may be waived, and these situations are handled on a case-by-case basis.
